After another year with highly qualified applicants, the Balkhi Foundation has notified students of their finalist selection status. The chosen finalists have been given one week to submit their supplemental materials to enter the final round of scholarship selection.
Ten winners will be chosen for this year’s Balkhi Foundation Higher Education Scholarship Cohort, with an additional scholar chosen for the Balkhi Foundation Rotary Scholarship offered in partnership with The Rotary Club of the Northern Palm Beaches. Winners will have demonstrated academic excellence and continued perseverance in the face of an unprecedented high school experience due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2021 scholarship cohort will join the previous cohorts of Balkhi Foundation Scholars who continue to excel at their current universities. Collectively, Balkhi Foundation Scholars currently represent ten states and are attending 16 colleges and universities. The Balkhi Foundation Scholars continue to demonstrate the drive for success and tenacity that led to their original selection as a foundation scholar.
